“Bakusō Ichibanboshi” Motorized Light-Up Toy (Popy / 2005)

A motorized, light-up toy produced by Popy in 2005, inspired by “Bakusō Ichibanboshi,” one of the Ichibanboshi truck variations from the Torakku Yarō film series.

In the films, the Ichibanboshi trucks are driven by Momojirō Hoshi, portrayed by Bunta Sugawara, the main character of the series.
Rather than representing a single fixed vehicle, Ichibanboshi appears in multiple named forms, with each variation reflecting the tone and momentum of the story.

The trucks depicted in Torakku Yarō are cinematic constructions, not direct reproductions of real dekotora vehicles.
Their imagery developed alongside Japan’s dekotora culture of the 1970s, with both influencing public perception of decorated trucks.

This toy reinterprets those film-based images in a simplified, playful format typical of mid-2000s mass-produced toys, prioritizing symbolic impact over scale accuracy.

映画『トラック野郎』シリーズに登場する「爆走一番星」をモチーフとした、
Popy（ポピー）製のモーター駆動・ライトアップ機能付きトイ。

「爆走一番星」は、シリーズの主人公である
**星桃次郎（演：菅原文太）**が乗る“一番星”トラックのバリエーションの一つとして登場します。
一番星は作品ごとに名称や装飾が変化し、
それぞれの物語のテンポや情緒を象徴する存在として描かれてきました。

『トラック野郎』は1970年代の日本を舞台に、
長距離トラック運転手たちの人情や旅を描いた娯楽映画で、
劇中のトラック表現は、実在の装飾トラックを忠実に再現するものではなく、
映画的な演出として整理・誇張されたイメージです。
同時代に広がったデコトラ文化とは相互に影響し合いながら、
その視覚的イメージが一般層へ共有されていきました。

本品は、そうした映画的トラック像と装飾的記号性を、
2000年代の玩具仕様として分かりやすく再構成したプロダクトです。
モーター走行や発光ギミックは、
